I started in this field 6 years ago after working for a decade in the Massachusetts House of Representative for State Rep. Paul Caron of Springfield. I received my Masters of Public Administration and saw this as a logical progression for me in my public life.
I serve as the Chief Administrative Officer for a town of roughly 7,500 residents. I am the appointing authority for all department managers including police and fire chiefs, DPW/Sewer Director, Building inspector, Finance Director, Treasurer-Collector and nearly all boards and committees in the Town. I also serve as the Chief Procurement Officer for the Town and I am charged with writing the town budget to be presented on Town Meeting floor
