I came to the profession of Town Manager from the field of Regional Planning. My goals in planning related to community devlopment and it became clear to me early in my career that there is more opportunity to influence communty values and improvements through muncipal management. I love this job because there is no other profession where you can have the opportunty to improve the quality of life and provide direct services. Municipal Management professionals have the unique opportunity to do something different every day!
