The primary objective of this association is to provide an effective force directed toward constant improvement of the quality, efficiency, and adequacy of service rendered by local government in Massachusetts with special concern for the efficiency and ethical standards with which these services are managed and the accountability of those who are administering the programs. The association shall endeavor to ensure diversity in local government and within its membership. This association provides an opportunity for its members to work towards these objectives through united
