Amendments to these bylaws shall be approved by a majority vote of the voting members canvassed by written ballot, provided that a copy of the text of any proposed amendment shall have been mailed to all voting members at least 30 (thirty) days in advance. The Executive Committee shall schedule a meeting of the membership to discuss any proposed amendment(s) prior to the deadline for ballots. Amendments may only be initiated by a majority vote of the Executive Committee or by a petition of at least five voting members. An amendment shall not become
effective until ten (10) days after its passage.
